My Nest

I’ve always been a “nester”. Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted to be a wife and mother, keeping house. My childhood was spent playing in my dolls house, building cubby houses in our backyard or turning my brothers’ bunk beds into a covered wagon like Laura Ingalls. Its always just been a part of who I am.

Fast forward to the start of 2018 and here I am – wife to the kindest man and mama to the brightest little 2 year old and 6 month old girls you’ve ever met! We live on my husband’s family farm in southern Western Australia in a house on a hill.

I’d every intention of starting this blog last year, as a way to record our first year of farm living, but between actually moving, pregnancy and then a newborn, it never happened! So while I won’t be documenting our first year here, I want to share all the wonderously beautiful and simple ways that God blesses our little family day to day.

I want to share the way He guides us. The way He challenges us. The way He breaks us and rebuilds us stronger and better than before. The way He loves us, protects us and surprises us at every turn. He gives us all we need, and all we never knew we needed, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
